This pulley ain't gonna turn no more, no more
After 2 years and 25K miles this is my crankshaft pulley:
But this is my new Corteco: note NO brand name but Corteco say it's genuine and "will last the life of the vehicle." Well we'll see about that . . .

What make was the old one?
The Corteco pulley on my car has done over 400k miles, so they can last. I thought it had packed up when I heard a rattle some time ago but it was the water pump on the way out. |

Well, thinking back, more vibration but then it is a diesel with 127K miles on the clock, so I suppose these things build up.

Hi Dave.
Was it this one below, if so even then it should not have got to that state in that amount of time & mileage its states they have been tested up to 70,000 miles https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...mper-lhg100750 The pulley looks like it as ground down to powder or melted even? then there's the cost of having another pulley fitted which is not cheap.

WOW.--You'd need quite a few tubes of Super Glue to put that right.--

Don't I know it. Yep that's the one Steve, £99. They did give me 30% off the Corteco but it all adds up. It's gone back to them to pass back to the mfr.
