Default Lower fuel tank v6

Hi folks,

The mot is due in the next few weeks on our 75, having got underneath and changed the exhaust for a nice quiet system and checking for any mot type issues knowing the pipes were an advisory on the last mot.. I set about cleaning them, unfortunately, the rear drivers side wheel area of pipe was bad so, new copper line made up (was hoping to pay someone else to do it but funds dictated otherwise after our cooker needed replacing).

With that side now done (managed to get the original steel pipe off at both unions and used that as a template for a neat finish.

Issue, I'm wanting to replace both rears, having seen how the pipe goes up the side of the tank and across to the passenger side rear wheel, I need to drop the tank to allow access.

Is it a case of just placing the jack under the tank and out in place and slackening off the bolts and lowering just enough to do what's needed or will I have to begin taking off other hoses and lines etc?

Thanks
Rob
