Default cup holder mounted mp3 player

If I smash up my cup holder thingy i should be able to mount a small mp3 player there. With the bonus it can be hidden away as required.

Does anyone know how to input stereo audio into the harmony unit's cd port?

Also is there a switched 12v power out? A mini voltage reg. knock down psu to 1.5v would not need much power.

AS they don't "eat" batteries, why not just put it in the arm rest and save the cupholder...?

I put an auxiliary 12volt outlet under the arm rest. There is a push out section (that needed cutting out) in the mounding of the plastic. I picked up a 12 volt outlet plug from the local car parts shop. Had it wired up when I had a blue tooth fitted, so not sure where the tech pickup the power supply from, but he tell me is simple once all the armrest etc was out

Works fine.
