We were playing with small Japanese 3cyl engines in the Flight Shed in the early 90’s on test beds. They lied about the power outputs but were very good. I did a Diahatsu Charade 1 litre turbo I think.

Well the way I see it is that some diehard MG people will never accept a Chinese built car so why should they cater for you? They need to survive in a very competitive market so they’re building cars that the masses want because as I stated earlier some of you will never be pleased with what they produce. My girlfriend bought an LE500 and yes the paint is rubbish being very thin and non existent in places on some cars but they came with an engine that doesn’t blow its head gasket, a hard top as standard and cost £1,000’s less than the MG it replaced. I’ve driven the new ZS 1ltr auto and I loved it and if funds were available I’d buy one. The only drawback with MG is the lack of investment in dealerships and their advertising which is almost non existant

With talks of quality, one of these vents is an Audi A1 and the other a new ZS

Gatwick suspects just been released. Charges dropped.
Ineptitude seems far too mild a word. I hope they sue.
