Well that's enough to put me off.

I did do the big lazy understressed V8 thing back in the day though, but that had a big lazy understressed transmission and driveline to go with it.

I'll be calling in often Ronnie just for a chat or for bits. It was a nice surprise to find my old pal Gerry Harper as I asked Gary if he knew him !

The diff on the V8s tend to whine if they haven’t had the oil changed at the correct intervals and with the correct grade.

They are easily repairable for not a lot of money though.

Must not be the Mustang diff, then. Repairs are not a big deal, but it is very rare you hear of them needing any.

Cheers,
Glenn

If I recall correctly it’s a Dana unit, same as some tvr’s.

Today I decided to "own" my radio. As you know I typed my code wrong several times.

Thanks to this forum, I knew I had to drive 1 hour so I can have a new chance.

It was snowy outside. A great weather to stay at home. But as an active man, I knew I had to fix the radio. I drove 2 weeks without!

So I stepped into my garage. Put my BlackBerry inside my new mount and drove some highway. At the way home finally I saw "Code"

I paid some lot 20 Euros for the code and typed it in. It works!!! finally!!!

It feels so good! Traffic news and it even works with my smartphone. The pre owner had a 3.5 headphone cable! I can controll everything from the steering wheel.

I am a happy camper!!

Did nothing with the 75 other than park it up to rotate usage with the R8 coupe. The wiper arms on the coupe were looking faded and with new wiper blades to fit I removed the arms and gave them a light coating of satin black paint. Extremely cold outside so came indoors for a cuppa and looking at two really nice TF’s online for sale and yet again wondering if it’s time to move the coupe on to its next owner.....
