Remove the radiator breather hose, either from the corner of the radiator, or the neck of the expansion tank and see if the level drops back to where it should be.
The breather pipe in the neck of my expansion tank used to block frequently. I suspect it had a bad drilling with some 'toilet seat' swarf as I never actually managed to dislodge anything. I've changed the tank now and the level has stabilised. |
