3М VHB is the right one. Gray material.

Hi Steve, I suppose a very hot windscreen will melt many of the cheaper adhesives, the 3M VHB tape is usually good for high temperatures, but still can come unstuck I suppose.

That's good news Steve.

I still have my two cameras sat in their boxes, not fitted them yet.

Groundhog day for me today as I removed the dash cam from the MGZT, and decided to fit it to the Tourer, routed the wiring in the same way as before later today I will need to see which fuse I need to use on a facelift fuse box behind the glove box.

Sorry, I cant help you with that one Steve. I still haven't fitted my 3x camera's yet, all three A118C dash cams are still sat in their boxes... I must get round to fitting them this year.

Hi Wes.
yes you must sitting in the box is doing them no good I manage to get round to finishing off the fitting to the NUK today been waylaid over the last week or so with a chest infection/cold sun was shining today for a few hours so took advantage of it.

As before removed the side panel & the glove box under cover which exposes the fuse box in the passenger foot well.

1

2

3

4

Fuse box plan on the fact lift Tourer of my car.
5

Fuse box and its fuses.
6

Close up you can see F2 left two up 10amp which is upside down, this is the AUX fuse.

First job is to clean the paint off the side so you get a good earth, you could I suppose connect up to the original earths which are in the same area.
7

Drill 3mm hole
8

After a coffee and choc hob knob, earth completed.
9

Next remove F2 10amp to the AUX
10

11

Add the 10amp to the piggy back
12

re-fit to the fuse box F2 the piggy holding the 3amp fuse and the 10amp fuse.
13

Push in the connector to the camera switch ignition to I
14

15

The camera now powers on with the ignition & powers off
16

These are what I used as I did in the MGZT except face lift as the mini fuses, so I had to purchase some leads and adapt the other socket.
17

The whole job should take no more than an hour, in my case cold/flu stopped play as well as the weather add in real life then it takes longer

Mine is still sitting in the box. Thankfully your post and quality pics have motivated me to do something about it next week when I am on leave.

I've just fitted the A118C dash cam to my ZT, only bought it 18 months ago lol

I used fuse 12 AUX, and the 'ground' is positioned just right of the fuse box (two unused plates with threaded holes), bonus.

I just need to fit one to the TF now, the Dacia is done.
