Trenchers in Whitby are charging £15.95 for a large cod, chips and tartare sauce. By the time you add in a drink (£4.40 for less than a pint of beer or £2+ for a pot of tea) it is getting a bit pricey

We paid £21 yesterday for two plates of fish and chips and two pots of tea in Skegness

Mind your head Rod in the hot sun. Can you not make a hat from a
headscarf or a big hanky? I suppose you can Knotting each corner will do the trick. I am guessing the restaurant owners in Whitby have to make profits whilst they can.
