It is indeed.....

I'll be out Monday/Tuesday although I think the mercury will be a few degrees down on the weekend.

Think you're in for quite a bit of wet stuff tonight so said the weather forecast

I luv UK summers.

I'm pretty glad we have air con indoors......especially in the conservatory

Only been a couple of real blatters of rain, the initial thunderstorm that scattered the girls (except Suzy!) and another (no thunder) not long ago. Other than that its been steady "good for the garden" rain.

There are still birds at the feeders, wouldn't want to frighten them.

I was channel surfing last night and came across a prog on Sky Arts about Dave Gilmour's guitar auction, auctioning his guitar collection through Christie's, the money going to some climate change charity. Jim Irsay, owner of the Indianapolis Colts, bought the "Black Strat" for $3,975,000 smashing the previous $2,100,000 record price for a guitar.

Been out with these two, only a short walk as it was still too hot for them.

Just got back from the Bricklayers Arms at Old Leake, having consumed:
One HUGE portion of belly pork with lots of trimmings (for SWMBO)
One large chunk of steak and ale pie with mash, potatoes and extra gravy (me)
One bottle of Old Mout Kiwi & Lime cider with half a ton of ice (me)
One apple and strawberry J2O with half a ton of ice (SWMBO)
...... came out into the car park and the external temperature gauge was showing 31°C.
Now sat in front of a 1 litre tub of ice cream, debating whether to eat it all, or keep some for tomorrow
