I showed your photo to Jessica, the one you posted up the other day and she asked if you were a male model. I said I don't know, but the photo is deceptive, as he is has been suffering with his mouth and balls from severe pain. Full marks Wes you are able to smile, despite your pain and discomfort.

I had a funny dream last night about lesbians which I won't go into, as we are a family forum and wondered if it was due to the LGBTG talk on the forum recently or from the medication I am on for the Shingles. It is said, if you discuss your bad dream, you won't get it again.

Anything is possible about meeting up. Jeff has invited me up to his boat for a jolly and I keep promising myself a trip up there. Perhaps he will invite you as well

I am lucky I don't have any ball ache, but to relieve my head pain at night, I apply a hot water bottle filled with ice from the freezer. It numbs the pain in an instant. What about applying a frozen water bottle to your testicles, when the pain is bad. Just a thought. A third of Shingles sufferers get a stroke within the first 12 months of recovery from the virus. Something I have to be wary of. But I am hoping I am in the lucky 2/3 who manage to escape it.

I did see a dentist in Nairobi after breaking my teeth. He had to give me an injection to inspect them as they were hypersensitive. I had a 3-D scan of the jaw to see if there is enough bone or if the jaw is diseased or not. He has told me I will need implants and a new bridge. The whole process will take 6-9 months. A nice chap from Sweden who sang whilst he did his magic. He did say, if I wanted implants done really cheap, I could go to India. At £150 it is cheap, but it is a long way to go for follow up

Have a great day in the sun
You're right there Phil, I reckon I'm faulty and thank you for the compliment, I guess I'm stuck in the 80's, that's what my wife tells me.

I'm a chatterbox Phil, and I believe talking brings encouragement and regains our perspective and enjoyment in life.

Its safe to say... teeth play a very important roll to a persons health, its common for a bad tooth/teeth will effect the TN nerve branch, also a bad/broken tooth when left will breed dangerous bacteria that will invade the rest of the body through the bloodstream and cause other illnesses such as heart disease.

They say this about root canals, some specialists believe RC's are the cause to many illnesses all due to the dead root bone that is left in the body, which in turn is breeding dangerous bacteria. I'm thankful that I've now got rid of the several roots canals that I once had, nothing but trouble right from the word go. I remember having a CT scan of the head, they were looking for bone cancer, quite scary at the time. Regarding my balls, the nerve block did not work, so I'm now in the hands of the pain clinic for plan B, then its off to see the urology team at Southampton hospital next month.

I think us men tend to bury our heads in the sand, pretend nothing is wrong, until its too late. Plus even medical science doesn't know everything, they are the first to admit this, so its no wonder many of us don't like putting ourselves in the hands of medicine, its like playing russian roulette...

Keep strong Phil.

I have booked for an early morning pick up taxi for 04:30 on Friday to take me to the airport for the 08:00 flight to London. I am staying in an airport hotel Friday night and on Saturday, Harrisop48 is collecting me and he will take me to pick up the car. It is storage in a secure setting near Reading. It had to be moved there to stop it from being stolen, for its scrap value. A gang had been going round looking for cars parked up for a long time. After collecting the V6, maybe an early lunch, before the drive to Bristol.

The sun is just breaking through and 24C is forecast. The headache from the shingles is still there, now 4 and a half months on. It’s nerve pain. I don’t know anyone else in the club who has had it, but it is gradually getting better every day. When it’s cleared up, then it’s the dentist. I will get my broken teeth pulled out and new teeth screwed in. It’s a bit embarrassing going out in public with no front teeth and having to talk with a lisp. I can’t pronounce anything beginning with the letter ‘F’........ There is always something, isn’t there

I was chatting to a guy here, who has never had a headache, he has never had a day off sick and he has a Hollywood smile. In fact he is a really nice chap. I wonder what his secret is?

Morning Phil, I've mowed half of the lawns, I'm now harvesting courgettes from the greenhouse as there are loads and doing Lancashire chef (same as Master Chef only bah't fancy ingredients)

I'm making courgette & mushy pea fritters because I've got plenty of both

There could be black pudding involved wi the next batch.
I'll take some pics when they're out the oven.

You will be giving Jeff a run for his money with those. He will be making sprout burgers to compete with you. Then there’s the wind problem

Evening all - I'm back in God's own county again - home
We had a fairly uneventful trip - in fact the A1 was surprisingly quiet.
3.5 hours for 166 miles, at a rate of 27mpg - not bad for towing.
We've emptied the caravan and SWMBO has just put the FOURTH load of washing in the machine

four loads isn't bad considering how long you were away Rod! We get more than that when we have been abroad, and that's just tshirts & shorts!

Cool

Evenin’ all.

Had a cracking day, bus trip into Plymouth. Got the right bus there and back.

Took Banana for a run, plus a few photo’s.

Rounded the evening off with a gammon steak, mash n peas washed down with a nice bottle of Chardonnay.
