Yeah ... I know it's tough having to spend so much time away from work but someone has to do it

G'day all - what a miserable couple of days we've had since we got home. I'm fine, but the missus has come down with something that involves lots of visits to the loo, a bucket on hand and, to quote her words, " the room is spinning round" every time she opens her eyes. Best we could get yesterday was a telephone consultation, which resulted in her GP thinking it was vertigo. No better today, and after about 4 hours sleep (each) last night, I've managed to insist on a home visit - which we're currently awaiting. When the doctor asked if I could get her to the surgery, I replied that it probably wasn't legal to drive with one hand on the wheel and a sick bucket in the other hand

I suppose the only small consolation is that had this happened when we were in the caravan it would have been impossible to cope with.

Now that a Doctor has actually seen the missus - he's decided its gastroenteritis. Sickness should ease within 24 hours, but trips to the loo and dizzyness could last a week !

I am really sorry to hear that Angela is suffering from this nasty bug Rod. Hopefully the Doc has given her something for the nausea to stop her from throwing up and feeling ghastly. We wish her a speedy recovery and we send her our love.
