Cool

Can someone give me the actual proper postcode for the entrance to the show, I know we do not come in via the main entrance to the hall.

It’s roughly a 2 hour drive for me from North London so I’m hoping to be there 09.30-10.00.

Yes as above I could do with the postcode/ full address. Post code according to this website is GU4 7AA but that shows the Clandon Golf course on google maps. https://www.eagleradio.co.uk/listing...amily-fun-day/

Not sure what code I used in previous years, as it's just stored in the sat nav as "Clandon Show" .

However, I think either GU4 7RQ, or GU4 7AA should get you there. Looking at Google Earth, 7AA takes you to Epsom Road and, if you're travelling east, the turning for the show is a couple of hundred yards further up the road on the left (straight over the roundabout). Conversely, if you're travelling west on the Epsom Road it's on the right just before the roundabout at 7AA.

Here's a screen shot which may help:

Hope this helps,

Cliff

Excellent Cliff. Have a look at
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/...6!4d-0.5087918
If you are coming from Aldershot via A3 East through Guildford take the slip road SP Ripley B2215 at R/about TR onto A247 SP West Clandon. Go through village to TLights at A25 TR go 1/2 mile West then go round R/about back on A25 around 200 yds? East to entrance on left. It is the Straight Road going North as shown on Google directly above the Rd in Epsom Rd.
Hope that helps.

Peter.

Do we have a stand number or anything so I'll be able to find our location?

Wink

If you print off your ticket it should show Stand J at the top. The Stewards will direct you.

We are now in our bedroom at The Talbot Inn in Ripley, had a very nice meal and a couple of drinks, should be at Clandon around about 9 oclock. Should be a great day out the weather looks good.

Well I managed to attend, thanks Peter for the help.

Damp weather didn't deter attendees, so well done to all, with some outstanding vehicles on display. Sadly, I was one of the nearest to the location, but had to leave early, my loss.

Thank you all for coming and supporting this very worthy charity, undeterred by the persistent drizzle.
Despite packing everything apart from the kitchen sink I forgot the two cups that I was going to present to the best resprayed Car of the two contenders and the best overall car from the rest as voted by you all. I'll try and remember them next year.
Will organise a Breakfast Meet at Frimley for 10th August which most of you confirmed that you could make it. Jennifer you can collect your chair from there.
Particular thanks to Bob Flying Banana for making a special trip into England.
Similar thanks to Rick-Sta and Deanna for coming over from Essex.
Good luck to Gordon on his lads 3000 mile jolly Split or Bust, hope all goes well
and have a safe journey.
