I used it when I went out with a mate on his speedboat on the Thames estuary. It was useful for spotting flotsam and bits of wood floating in the water at night. Sometimes we would come back late after having a fun time water skiing etc, and these days, I don’t have a need for the device anymore, you can have it FOC Catch you later.
Hi Phil,

That sounds a very useful gadget, especially when I start doing some night cruising........No, not that sort of cruising......PERVERTS

At the very least I shall buy you lunch at the Bridge Inn Sir, must be your turn for a day out on the water soon

Thanks, I'm not usually around during the day, but have a few days off work. Catching up with a few things on the cars, house and garden. On the ZT, I did the bonnet cable mod yesterday and the foc fuel-filter mod over the weekend.

Hi, you have been busy with the car doing some useful upgrades. Do you know anyone who could help repair a leaking washing machine? I thought I would do a wash this afternoon, loaded it up. Hey presto! Water gushed out from under the machine. Fortunately, I was able to turn the supply off at the stopcock.

I have a plumber visiting tomorrow afternoon to repair a leaking basin tap, his firm wont do washing machines.

Oi you - I'll have you know there used to be a very productive urea plant just round the corner from there

Good morning all - I is still 'ere - just a bit busy
SWMBO now seems to be on the mend, albeit slowly. The visits to the loo have stopped, but she keeps on having dizzy spells now & then and daren't walk too far without me to support her. Remember René's mother in law in 'Allo 'Allo who used to lay in bed and bang on the floor with her walking stick when she wanted anything - yes, you've got the picture - Angela is auditioning for that role in the remake
She had her first solid food yesterday since last Tuesday night, so that is a big step in the right direction
I'm chef, cook, pot boy, bottle washer, care assistant, washer, drier, garden attendant and waterer, fish feeder - you name it, I'm it.
As I've been cooking for myself, and I'm not a very good chef, I've had some 'interesting' meals. I did enjoy the Heinz Big Soup - which I served on a plate (instead of in a bowl) with chips, livened up a bit with a few grains of curry powder and cayenne pepper

I always get this Newport bridge mixed up with the Transporter bridge Slapped legs for bad Geography

Yes the graphics are very good on this Tees Valley game, It's amazing how they can get it so realistic looking.
I just noticed last night that part of the roundhouse turntable is still there at Thornaby, they get all the detail of the railway network in these games.

Missus has been on shopping day today, fridge is re-stocked with Henry's cider
It's still raining steadily here from this morning. It'll save me watering the plants.

Sorry, no, you probably need an appliance engineer for that. I tend to try to fix stuff like that myself, unless it's still in warranty. You could have a look, see if it's anything obvious.

Thats okay and thank you very much for getting back. I have a plumber visiting tomorrow pm. He is going to repair the leaking tap and on Friday afternoon, I have an appliance engineer visiting to check the washing machine (no warranty). Both will charge £70 + VAT each for the call out. In the meantime, I watched a video this evening from Hoover on how to drain the water out manually and how to check the hoses for worn rubber seals, fairly basic. On Saturday, my wife arrives from Kenya and I want everything to be just right.....

Morning all, first in this morning, bound for Redcar today, hoping I might catch up with Rod for a bit, if Angela is well enough to be left for a short while.
