Been thinking about them myself Andrew, From what I can gather straight swap and usually wiring in place behind driverside wheel arch. If not simply tap into feed to heated mirrors.
Only downside is it is only the actual jets that are heated, not the pipes leading to them, so still a chance for them to freeze

It is an easy simple upgrade Andrew, you will be pleased to know
which gives you heated screen washer Nozzles. Les at SMC Trading often has these as well. If washer bottle freezes no help though. |

I'll go for it. Many's the time I've not been able to clean the windscreen due to frost. Don't get it often nowadays (whatever happened to winters?) (Rhetorical) But I've always felt that only the nozzles are frozen,,,,, Done deal OB

I fitted a set of these to my Zed a few months back.
Easy 'ish' to fit apart from the hole which you need to thread the wire through is to small for the plug (not sure if this is standard or just specific models/years) so I had to cut the connector off and reconnect it once the wire was in position. Realistically, its not a modification that will see much use and as mentioned above it won't stop your pipes or water bottle freezing. HTH Dave

And, after all, my avtar does say "Upgrader" Can I now call mine a "Club going on Connie"? (With all my additions? ) However I will take your comments under advisement, and make a note of it. Thank you
