How long will the washer pump last with all this added weight of water to push? (Just a thought....)

Change it for one from a tourer that pushes water all the way to the rear of the car maybe? Unless of course as on some cars there's a second separate reservoir at the back - sorry I don't have a Tourer to check...................

No extra reservoir, AFAIK. What temperature would that fluid reach after the engine has reached normal temp? Would it still be safe? The coolant itself is likely to be over 80°C.

I obtained one from SMC and I found that you could fit the loom from the wheel well, bottom to bonnet, and I did not cut the plugs.

If I remember correctly, the instructions show the loom going down into the wheel arch next to the bonnet hinge, not through the original hole. I scratched my head for ages before spotting that.

Yes got it Will try to fit on this weekend, as well as door finishers, jacking points, and one or two other things , seeing as I'll have the front of the car off

If you have a two speed fan and the old type small Resistor this is the only bit that fails on the 2 speed fans.
Jules Resistor kit is a upgraded heavy duty unit that should have been fitted as standard.
