What is the overall benefit of these Downpipe Restraint Brackets?
All SIX MG ZT 1.8Ts I've worked on have this component removed before I bought them.
I have since bought and fitted that one to my daily driver ZT-T 1.8T. Apart from the obvious benefit, is one benefit less stress on the Exhaust Pipe flexi-joint or, more stress? It most certainly holds the Exhaust Downpipe securely attached to the Sump. The bracket assembly costs a shade under £30 from Rimmer Bros posted. Last edited by Abott10; 18th February 2020 at 13:12..
