Me and the Mrs are hoping to go on one of the shorter voyages either next year or the year after.
Quite fancy the round Britain one taking in Scotland and Ireland.

An excellent picture, its massive, completley dwarfs PS Waverely. As my son said though, it almost looks like a container ship.
I'd still love to go on it though

Yes I was thinking container ship as well. Having worked on the QE2 for 7 years I think I'm biased towards the older style cruise ships. |

Big and luxurious no doubt, but it has to be one of the ugliest cruise ships so far.
Can't beat the old liners for style and grace.

Quite frankly, it's horrible compared with the old QE2. Would I want to be onboard with 3000 others for a week (or worse - two weeks) - no thank you. There is nothing elegant about that ship. And besides, can you think of arriving at some small port somewhere and everyone wanting to get off at the same time? The local infrastructure would be somewhat overloaded methinks

The Queen Mary looks nicer still!
I presume QE2 replaced the Queen Mary and this replaced QE2?
