Guys,
I haven't had this fixed yet, and have it booked into the garage Wednesday.
But so as I don't go in completely 'cold' I'm trying to price up how much it would cost to repalce the spring.

Your input would be hugely appreciated?

Labour time?
Materials requried other than spring?
Price for materials?
Or telephone number for place I can get price/availbaility from?

Would it be parts from a standard 75? Or are the V8 specials?

Many thanks

Steve

Steve the springs seem to have the same part number for 75 and ZT which seems odd, both around £90 each plus vat

There seems to have been some supercession of part numbers
Gut feeling, you should change both sides as a matched pair.

Hi Keith

I've been told they are about £100 each and Rover recommended doing both - however, the car has only done 10k miles? what's the point of changing both?!
