Also, i've done 8K in just over a year - my biggest running cost by far has been fuel...

nope not many motorway miles in that just 80 mile round trip though the scenic roads of south wales to get to work and back

I'm not sure about the V8 but with my 2.0 it's far more economic on the motorways. The car is almost 2 tonnes so it's energy wasted in town or lots of bends.
Shame I don't acctually drive too often on motorways.

ZT 260 = 1700kg (from memory)
4.6l engine - i average 21mpg (mixture of lots of country lanes and A roads mainly)
