I just took that as the seller being mistaken unless he thinks the Rover V8 was top of the range

Actually the write up on the Two-Sixties forum about the first one is a good bit of info for any future owner

On the second one you do wonder if the gentleman who owned and damaged it just looked on it as a hack.

He has no respect or knowledge of its history, would have thought getting the facts right before posting the sale on spambay would have put over a slightly better impression.

The first one has dark brown rust on the rear brake discs. Light brown = just washed the car. Dark brown = sitting around for a good while.

This is ridiculous, biding on the damaged one is currently higher than for the perfectly ok one!

Possibly because most of the bidders will be in the midlands and south and most people from there would think that Inverness was on another continent.

Well it is in another Country isn't it? LOL.
Most people down South think Watford Gap is far North!

Well the healthy one is up to a healthier price now

I must admit knowing Inverness and that area of Scotland quite well it would be a wondeful place to own and drive such a car on days out just as I do with mine in North Wales
