To be honest you're best spoiling your ballot paper in protest rather than not voting at all as a record of spoilt papers is also noted. Anyway don't want to get into arguments over it that was not the intention of the thread and my heads like jelly I'm so tired and only about 8 hours for bed, roll on 4:00 am.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. A colleague wrote "None of the above" on his ballot paper. Makes his point clear

I think that should be a real option, and certainly something I have been thinking about doing.
