Had the belts, water pump, tensioners etc. all replaced early this year on my ZTT. The ZT180 will need the same within the next couple of years, but does a very low annual km's total. My job was done by John Finlay Motors in Christchurch. The parts came from MGR Discount Spares. The tensioner packed up after just a couple of weeks and I'm now on to the third water pump, no's one and two leaking badly only days after being fitted. The latest replacements are a different brand and are so far performing faultlessly. MGRD Spares have been very accommodating over the whole thing, so no complaint there, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The original job cost $1000 plus parts, which included a couple of other small jobs. I'm into my 13th year with MGR product, both Rover 75's and ZT's, including a R75 V8 for seven years (sold now) and I still love them. As they climb in age and mileage I wonder what I'll ever replace them with! Oh well, maybe a Jag........

Merry Christmas
