Evening all, The sun has come out here in the last hour, very nice out there now, I've taken all the 30ltr buckets of seed potatoes back in the greenhouses & covered all seedlings & everything else in bubble wrap & fleece We're set for some low overnight temps so I'm not getting caught out again with frost damage.
I've made a cottage pie with some more of that Linda McCartney veggie mince, there seems to be quite a few packets of it in the freezer

Down west Somerset railways tonight on a class 09 taking empty stock to Bishops Lydeard, It gets a bit boring after a bit as it's a max limit of 25 mph railway line I need some Stevestrat Shenanigans to stop me getting bored

Didn’t know they made meat free mince, never seen it, we used to get it from Morrison’s their own make but now can only get it at Tesco. The quorn mince is disgusting, in fact any quorn is horrible. Plastic tasteless stuff.

Dear God! Going any distance in a 08 or 09 was a punishment, both had rock hard suspension, any rough joints etc would jar your teeth and they were never designed with crew comfort in mind. Dunno why you are complaining about 25mph, the 08 is 15mph maximum, if you went much faster you could bend the side rods! All 08s around here, used to have to ferry them to/from Haymarket depot, one side of Edinburgh to the other via the Suburban line around the outskirts of Edinburgh, that included going through Niddrie which at the time was real bandit country. Going so slowly the little horrors had plenty of time to aim their stones and other assorted missiles

Worst journey was before my time. When the Waverley line down through the borders was open every weekend the 08 came up from Galashiels to Edinburgh for servicing, that's about 30 miles Must have been punchy by the time they arrived!

All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Cool

Morning everyone.

We have hazy sunshine.

Nice to see the traffic jams back, not. Absolute chaos as Cornwall Council have decided that now is a good time to resurface the tarmac on the Tamar bridge.
