Old stock, 60 euro in Italy. Looks genuine: what's the correct tool to remove the insert ? Looks like an "empy torx" one...

Hi Canio
yes its a security torx with a little nipple in the centre, so torx needed with centre hole, you can use a small flat blade down the side of the nipple and up against the wall of the screw.

Once removed replace them with stainless steel screws.

Maybe worth doing the MAF mod below, it helps remove the plug if the MAF ever goes out of spec and the car goes into limp mode, you can then remove the plug, this will help you drive home properly, no limp mode.

Normal torx security bits won't be any good on the original maf insert screws.
Torx security bits have 6 points, the ones you need are 5 point security bits
