Default Bit of advice

A couple of days ago a 'fencing' contractor (two grunts and a '53 plate Transit) managed to reverse into my Contemporary sliding up the O/S front swiping off the side repeater and powerfold door mirror and scraping the front wing and drivers door
I've have a 'spare' mirror assembly (originally intended for the project Tourer) and a new repeater lamp I can fit just to keep it on the road for the time being and I thought I might take the opportunity to replace the front door latch as the central locking no longer works off the key fob.
I've got the door card removed and the water shedder peeled back, anyone know if it's possible to remove/replace the latch assembly without disturbing the electric window mechanism?

By the looks of it, Yes you can but you will need to remove the glass.

when I did mine (drivers door) I removed the bottom bolt that is towards the outside of the door.
I could not wiggle the lock past the frame without undoing the bolt.
No need to remove the glass

good luck

As above just remove the bottom bolt and you should be able to get it past it's a bit or trial and error to get it past.

Also remove the grey electrical connector from the window motor whilst you're swapping over the catch.
If lazy lock and vent is enabled on the car the window can lower when you're sorting out the dumbbell.
Broke 3 fingers doing that once when I'd forgotten to do that

Take a look here and you will find all the PDF's for the workshop Rave manual for the 75/ZT https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...kbXyHOXk8eFf-0

Down load them and either read from them on your PC or print them out. Warning, printing them all will take around 4000 pages but nothing stopping you just printing a single page or section
