auto dim interior mirror

i am attempting to remove the headlining on my 75 tourer ive got everything out then noticed the only thing stopping it from coming out is the connection for the auto dim mirror can someone advise please how to disconnect it please before i break the windscreen thanks in advance

If you prise apart the plastic surround for the mirror you will be able to see the connector, pull it apart then twist the mirror itself off its mounting to remove mirror which might make removing the headliner a bit easier
