Currently sat outside mum's care home waiting for the result of a lateral flow covid test before we can go in and see her. Was talking to mate in the coach trade today who's mother was in the same home and he says its absolutely excellent which is good to know. Apparently she has settled in ok .

The day has now spoiled itself - mist has dropped down over the edge of the Moors and the temperature is now into single figures.

Good Luck.

Yeah you're right Andy we need to get them used to the cat basket as all three of them run a mile in every direction when they see me bring it in out of the garage

He's finally come out of hiding & appeared at his food bowl

Got the shopping in Callington and popped Ito Saltash. Found a parking space in the Street.

Sad to say I don't play much now, lot of bother with my hands. arthritis surfacing in both. Particularly annoying is I get fingers locking up to the extent that I can't free them without the assistance of the other hand. Still got the guitars and no intention of parting with them, Fender Strat, "clone" of Blackmore's Sunburst from the '70s right down to the same wiring set up and internal electronics, guy who built the original for Blackmore became a good friend if a distant one, based in New York, sadly he passed away a few years ago; Columbus ES335 copy which I upgraded with quality pots and vintage paper/oil caps, various effects pedals (including self build) and a Laney 30W amp. Residing in the loft is a 2nd Strat, it was used as a testbed for mods and a Warwick bass.

Morning all, same here Gents, no time to pick up the guitars at the moment, my good one is an Aria SB1000 bass with peavey amp and Carlsboro delta cabs, the same as John Taylor’s set up from the early 80s, a bit overkill for inside the house lol.

Morning peeps,

Chucking it down here.

I have a feeling I won’t be getting much work done today.

The forecast is looking pretty grim right into next week

Its grey and ugly here, off to get the caravan ready this morning for the short break,I am expecting the rain to be restricted to the Broads area over the weekend.

I wonder why?

And then I'll hold you in my dreams
