When i got my car mine wasn't working either, turned out to be a bare wire under the enginbay fuse box & another behind the panel to the drivers side of the rear parcel shelf. Oh & a blown fuse as well.

Does the light come on on the switch when you press it?

Hope it helps

Regards

Paul

Just switch the relay with one similar in the under bonnet fuse box. The function of each is represented pictorially inside the lid so you can identify what they are for. Try swapping it for the interior fan and you will be able to check then if it is working correctly by switching the aircon on.

Have you tested for power at the rear window itself with a multimeter?

At leasr that will tell you if theres a problem between the switch & the element.
