Hi Supervinnie40,

Meeting: http://www.r75.info/modules.php?name...t=8779&start=0

When the full program is online I will upload an English version.

Pim

Maar wat betreft mijn wensen. Ik wil het volgende doen;

Sounds like a plan..

No one has yet suggested the postal option. If you can do without the car for a while then I guess Brian could tell you what to remove and post over (that is if Brian still has a bench loom setup). Just make sure the postal insurance is sufficient. May work out cheaper than getting a T4 guy from the UK to the Netherlands. Brian would be able to say if this is possible.

Just a thought...

That sounds like a good idea avulon. Not sure if it possible but I never thought of that. I'll Pm Brian now.

Pretty sure the BCU service can't be done without the car present!

Since Classic Mini's are my other hobby and I have made a LOT of friends in the UK thanks to that, I'll be visitting the UK a few times a year anyway. (in 2013 10 times, this year 4 times so far)
Most of my friends live in Kent, but several of the Mini shows are held in the Midlands, so I'll be in those areas anyway.

Next visit (not yet definite) will probably be the end of January :-) (Although a quick visit around Christmas might be an option too).

Not sure why that would be so, It's quite possible to have all the parts out of the car and configure them, trust me, I've seen it on Phil-T4's couch! BCU, ECU, IPK, LSM and EWS , and I think there may be one for the auto gearbox as well - not 100% sure on that. Anyhow check with Brian or Phil they both know a lot more about it than I do.

I have frequented phil couch many a time, ipk and highline test looms with many electrical components scattered about I'm the shelving! The cars coding needs to be changed to recognise the BCU change, watched Brian do one in April. Wonder how many places the coding is stored...
