Brisbane to Sydney roadtrip
Thought i'd post up that i did a very enjoyable 1,000km drive in the ZT last week. Over two days. ZT performed flawlessly, with a good mix of relaxed highway cruising and some fun hard driving......Stopped over night in Scotts Head, roughly half way. A great spot on the beach to pitch a tent. Also, the average fuel consumption - according to car, was 7.1L/100km. Pretty happy with that. Certainly didn't put as much fuel in as i thought i'd have to. The temp kept a steady 91-92'c as well.
Looking forward to the drive back now....but that won't be for a while as working in Sydney for now. Will be taking it to these guys though who have a T4 for its next service... http://paradisegarage.rtrk.com.au/?s...id=32846887635

Last 14; Nick here from Sydney. Again.
I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts re Paradise Garage as failing to find ANYONE on the northside with a T4 I"m thinking of spending the money and heading over to them also... Cheers (PS: There's a NSW Rover Club; I've joined but working around the country hasn't yet allowed me to attend...) There is a get together August 30th (on their site) and also Cars & Coffee is at Cavallinos @ Terrey Hills, Sunday August 2nd; the coming out parade for my Connie if I can whip it into shape in time...

I haven't been to Paradise Garage yet, partly as theyre on the wrong side of Sydney. But i am planning to go some time. One or two things that i think require semi-urgent review but rest can wait a while...... After using a number of garages though over the years, i'd like to try Paradise as they say they're specifically ZT75 specialists, as opposed to just British Car specialist etc etc. And of course they have a T4........... I will let you know once i've been, but it may not be for a while unless my minor issues develop into major issues...! Cheers.

Totally understand; just had my Connie through a rego check at a local garage. Owner is a veteran motorsport spanner man and muscle and older car restorer. Given her a clean bill of health with no issues... however reading the forum posts I believe a T4 check in her near future may assist longevity (:

They recommended another garage, close to us on the north side, McCarrolls in Chatswood. Use to be an MG Rover dealer / service centre. The service manager is still there, they do Renault/Citroen/Lexus now. But apparently always have Rovers come in and they have a T4 still. I will be taking the car there at some point soon, maybe in August. Seem to be loosing coolant, but i cant see where. And i am loosing power steering fluid, seemingly out the cap-seal on the reservoir. I also changed all 6 coils couple months ago, as was not giving a smooth accelleration. This cleared that up and its been running very smoothly. But now last few weeks it has similar symptoms, of uneven accelleration. Very annoying, almost bunny hopping at low speeds.... a T4 session might tell me all...... it will at least turn off the auto door lock function! It was too dark to get any good photos, but here's two of the 75's there. All very good, 2.5 V6's.

Judging from the cars you shot it looks like I need to get some more polish on the Connie before letting her loose on the public...
Great to know there's T4 close to home too; Thanks so much for the info... Hope the rough running is ID'd and cleared quickly...
