Default Where's my electric gone!!

Strange one this one. I was pumping up a tyre on my car with a mini electric compressor connected to the accessory socket in the arm rest. It ran for about 4mins and stopped. Thought nothing of it believing it had overheated. Packed it away and locked the car via the fob.

Next morning started the car but the installed carcam did not switch on, then discovered that the windows x4 would not work, the heater panel (therefore windscreen demister not working), radio, arm rest accessory socket and electric mirrors were dead. The dashboard cigar lighter though, was working. All other electrics seem to be fine.

I disconnected the battery to see if a reset would fix it but no change.

Checked all the fuses passenger and under bonnet – seem fine.

Radio installed with manufactured adapter.

Carcam and accessory socket connected to wiring for in dash cigar lighter.

Airbay light is coming on intermittently but usually it is the underseat connector issue. Airbag now fixed, well that's a start.

If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

If it has the standard size fuses, fuse 11 in the passenger fuse panel is common to those items. Also fuse 11? in the later mini size fuses panel.

A possibility is that whoever wired the accessory socket, connected it to the common control circuit (fused at 5 amp), rather than the correct 20 amp power circuit.
