Aussie Owners
Hi everyone. I am a recent convert to these beautiful machines and have just become a new owner of a 2001 Club 2.5litre V6. Wow the luxury!
Does anyone have a list of Australian owners? If not then any Aussie (NOT OZZY) owners can contact me through this forum and we may be able to help each other as Dealership help in this country is non-existent. Please PM me. Congratualtions on your new purchase Mark and welcome to the forum. I hope you have lots of fun with it.
Contact your local RCCA Rover Car Club Australia too as they will have a strong membership and know of your local providers. Also you'll find a lot of local support on here too I'm sure. Enjoy and good choice (even if it isn't a ZT...lol)

Mark,
Self help for our lovely cars is well and truly in place here in Australia. Firstly there are Rover Car Clubs in each state, depending on where you are. The Rover Car Club of Australia while the largest club is based in Melbourne. All the Clubs have 75 or ZT owners. Secondly there is a local 75/ZT Group. While initially started within RCCA by RCCA members it is now around 70 participants from all over Australia. I happen to be Moderator for the group: https://groups.google.com/group/rover75-mgzt-aus and anyone with an interest or ownership in these cars is welcome to join our discussion. If you are interested just let me know. Cheers Peter H. |

Hi Mark, try the following:
1) Select Members List from the brown bar at the top of any forum page 2) In the next window click on Search Members to the right 3) When the drop down appears, click on Advanced Search 4) from the list of options type Australia in the Town/City box, then hit return.......and that should get you started You could also type Melbourne, Perth etc in that box to show more results |

Is it the fuel pump.
Quote:
Stevie B sold his MG about a year ago and I don't think he has visited this site since. Are you sure that you need to replace your fuel pump? Sometimes the in-tank fuel pump will separate from the fuel filter - in which case the remedy is the low cost "Fabled Orange Clip". If you do need to replace your fuel pump, give Rob Leonard a call - he has some second hand parts and is a member of our local Rover club. Alternately, British Car Components in North Melbourne should have new parts, and if needed the cheap Orange clip. There are some posts on this forum that relate to your problem. If you need assistance you may PM me. Kind regards, Bruce. Last edited by egremont; 23rd January 2015 at 11:17.. Reason: Deleted phone number |
