Seems a very nice car, but perhaps a bit pricey - i.e. there is a ZT on autotrader with similar if not same level of kit and only 38k miles for 5,995. - and from a dealer too.

Thats why I said offers really as the valuation places all differ.

Parkers says this...

Rover 75 Saloon (99-04)
2.0 CDTi Connoisseur SE (131ps) 4d Auto 2003/53
Average mileage 30,000 miles
Original Price £23,520
Franchised Dealer £8,560
Independent Dealer £7,875
Private Good £7,260
Private Poor £6,095
Part Exchange £6,645

Now it has double the milage but it is in no way poor condition so it's got to be worth £6000 minimum I would have thought. Plus it has all the toys apart from parking heater and sat nav.

Parkers are usually well out - A dealer would offer nowhere near £6645! More like sub 5k! (the robbing bar-stewards!)
Good luck anyhoo! Are you staying in the fold?

I agree parkers are usually out but I paid 7k for it last october and they did start to recover a little for a while so I asked what I did to see what happens but I am open to all offers. I have seen quite a few conn se's with similar spec on auto trader at the 7k mark too and some a little more.

As for staying in the fold, it depends on what I get for her as going to a lower spec with cloth will put me off so we shall see but I am looking at all sorts so depends what they drive like etc.

My 75 is identical to yours plus TV, including the mileage when I bought it last August, and I paid £6,500 for it so you are not far off the mark. If I was to sell mine now I would be looking for 6k but it does have kit taking it up to 145bhp and 225 M3's

I'd keep it and get a roof rack.

Default Rover Tourer

Hi Simon..your car looks good.

Don't know if this will interest you, but I test drove a 2005 diesel auto Rover Tourer today from a garage nr Northampton. (Carshop) Price is around £10,600. Has cruise control and sports leather seats. Not a bad deal I thought.

Good luck.

Sounds nice but a bit out of my price range at the moment though unfortunately.

Cheers anyway
