Lost Desktop Picture
Anyone help. My desktop has become just a plain white screen, i.e. I have lost my desktop picture for some reason.
I have tried the normal steps of right clicking the desktop / properties / Desktop, but all I get is a greyed out list and nothing moves to choose anything. I have even tried selecting a picture / right click / set as Desktop Background, all to no avail. The funny thing is that when I log off or shut the computer down I get a brief glimpse of the picture that was selected. |

I would say from my limited experience on Windows that possibly the desktop picture file is corrupt. Try deleting the original and then do a restart that may get you back to a generic desktop.
Don't shoot me Windows people I am only guessing after all. |
