So will see if we can do a deal or not, need a good drive in his and he likes mine so we will see if i like it as much as he likes mine.

Keep your fingers crossed.

there is another one with a blown engine and being sold with a spare engine. cheap at 375 if its a diesel might be worth paying a specialist to recon the doner engine and fit could still be well under my budget anu thoughts?

dont like the seats in Bens car and the drivers is ripped, any breakers here i could get a nice leather swede combo set?
Is tha 75 rover seats compatable? or would these just not look right?
Ron

Its my old one actually. And it doesnt come with a spare engine, trust me. The amount of stuff missing is a joke and thats why its sat in the breakers for 8 months as they wont budge on price.

Engines need recoding to the ecu's and such, will cost a fortune, and when your doing the V6, you need to do the belts and its got a broken manifold knackered clutch and thats not the start of it, LOL.

Everything Rover is compatible mate.

Well Colin, done the deal for the green one, getting her today. Both had a wee job to do on each others cars i had a suspension arm to replace he had the seatbelt light to sort. but both of us cant get a mechanic for at least 3 weeks, i bought the part and he got it on a diagnosis machine and its showing the rear tensioner that is faulty?
so we have decided to do the deal and fix the cars ourselves. any idea what the rear tensioner would be? Its on the seat belt somewhere, is there sensors on that part?
May get a chance to go to the next meet and make your aquaintence.
Another MG saved and going to a new entheusiest.

YES, showing guy on a seat with red ball infront of him.
( best description i have) please dont tell me its mega bucks!

Hope its the easy wiring fix as shown in your buying thread.

Other that that the car drives superbly, nice smooth gear change so smooth in fact i asked if the gears were changing i could hardly notice. A fe very minor scratches
( im a paint sprayer, well in my younger days i was office based now days but still can do a bit if and when im pushed )
drivers seat has a little rip at the lumber but apart from that she is a very nice clean car that was well looked after from what i can tell. Owner had to do the flywheel and new brak discs and pads all round then some nice new tryes, so very happy.
take a while to get used to the harder suspension as the Merc was so smooth and the road noise is a lot more than the Merc but thats minor and i will get used to it im sure.

No mate, its more than likely just the blue connector under the seat is loose lol.

If you can spray you may get some serious casual business for local members.

If you want, your welcome to pop up to mine some evening and we can go over the car, im just outside templepatrick. I will pm you my number.

Great Colin was going to ask if you would actually. i think the suspension is really hard and just wondering if its standard or lowered or something but its rock hard ( maybe just seems a lot worse as the merc was so comfortable)
Would you be about Thursday im off all day so afternoon or evening? off til monday actually so whenever suits you
Cheers

not up for any work mate im up to my knackers with my own job and had my own body shop a lot of years back and never ever again still owed enough money to retire on.
