Swop out of a 1.8 engine
Is it possible to swop out the 1.8 k series engine with a diesel. Do the ECU and related wiring need changed. Or if I fit a 220 sdi engine (no ECU) how would you fool any of the petrol engine sensors?

anyway, in answer to your question you'd need to change Engine Gearbox Driveshafts Fuel pumps, and lines, ECU and so on..... You'll spend a fortune in both time and money with not much to show at the end.
