We are just displaying a level of healthy skepticism.

I am still unclear as to what was actually done to your car that has resulted in a circa 10MPG improvement in the fuel consumption.

Are you saying that your car had a power upgrade?

If so, may I ask which one, as that is an exceptional increase in MPG and would easily offset the cost of the upgrade and increase in insurance premium.

I hope you have notified your insurance.

The power has come from the T4 160 Map as carried out by Phil. When being checked by Phil he let me know from the PC screen that there was an issue with one of the injectors but as the car runs fine why fix what is not broken. The thermostat is most likely stuck fully open as the temperature gauge hovers around the lower 1/4 mark.

My driving has been indicated before as 70mph as indicated from the dash (66mph by GPS) when allowed and where not, not. My weekly commute is around 750 miles give or take with less than 200 off the motorway. I understand the scepticism however these values are from raw data and a little arithmetic. Mileage divided by litres used and converted at 4.54 litres to the Gallon. It is what it is, the car cost me £650 with 3/4 of a tank in it and was bought soley as a means of improving my enjoyment on my travels.

I was formerly using a BMW 335i which although fast and economical (33.6 mpg same route same driving style) brought me little or no joy. By my arithmetic I will save over £2500 when all saving have been acrued - less RFL lower insurance and of course the outstanding mpg. My other car will not see 23 mpg however I knew this and it also makes me even more happy when costing so much more.
