Default My 75 is back on the road!

Hello folks I bought my 5th 75/ZT (Connie SE CDTi) boxing day 2016 for £650 and after 29k mile (@156k) the slave cylinder gave up. I considered the car uneconomical to put back on the road so laid the car up at my local Garage. I then bought a 2006 S-Type 2.7 which itself is now laid up. So what to do well as you can see I put the old girl back on the road today. In the intervening 7 months the cruise has decided not to work, any quick checks to do? The cruise switch in the centre consoul is illuminated but the steering wheel switch is not bringing the cruise on. I can live without but as I will be covering some 700 miles a week it will be missed!!!!

Quite happy Steve.

Hi Steve, is yours the Copperleaf Mk1 that has been at Shap garage for the last few weeks. I stopped off to ask about it when passing in my own near twin, thinking it might need rescuing! Glad to hear you've got it back on the road. Doubtless, at 117,000 I still have the joy of the slave cylinder to come in the not-too-distant future!

Yes that's the one, its been there for over 8 months. It's nice to get it back on the road. The Blue S-Type parked there is also mine, hopefully to be back on the road soon also.
