Default Mot garage data available again.

I see the MOT garage data is available again on the history checks but you need the 11 digit from the V5C to access it.

I wasn't meaning the history I was referring to the garage details of where the MOT was done this was removed a few months ago from the MOT history checker.

Good news.
It makes sense that a current owner has access to this information, if needed.

The MOT system is constantly changing, it seems to be more of a hobby-horse. So much was left out of the revisions/overhaul of the system back in May this year. The Testers Forum contains some updates of future amendments some of which are a bit of a joke really.

We were issued with the rolling code tester card which needs to be used each time one logs on to the VTS, this is clever stuff and I think it holds security as a priority, they are working on the concept that you use the card once a day to login, and then just enter your user name and password. The move to become lax with the proper use of the card and it's codes seems madness to me. So this demonstrates to me a potential level for security breach if somebody can easily see over your shoulder when logging in if your PC is open to other users. But at present, they would need to have access to & press the card button to get in illegally ! So what the hell is going on at DVSA is on the mind of many !
