From the North East twice to Germany via Harwich- Hoek of Holland to Lower Saxony, Autobahn most of the way. Long distance trips to Norfolk, Southampton, and Surrey a couple of times. My 1.8 didn't miss a beat. I have no qualms whatsoever in taking on any trip. No one iota.

If you want power, buy a Jaguar, Mercedes or BMW with 3.0+ V6.


These cars are what they are, power demons they are not and were never meant to be.


Anyone who finds the 1.8NASP underpowered is driving the wrong type of car!
