There are a few things that could Be, test the UBP for a constant flow, If it's good try a leak back test on the injectors.

Check the intercooler hose isn't loose or split, also check a mat isn't rolled up under the accelerator pedal.

Thanks for reply’s I don’t think it’s got a under bonnet pump so no problem ther it just hits 3000revs and won’t go past.

Check out the items Heddy mentioned, then try a leakback test.

You could try this

Probably not related, but I've had similar problems before...in the Alfa Romeo, it was the MAF...can't remember what it was on the Chrysler 300M, maybe the ECU. It will come back to me! Good luck!

lack of revs over 3000 rpm
2 possable causes 1 choked cat or 2 problem with the sensor at the end of the hp pump.To check cat disconect exhaust from turbo and then rev engine. Sensor ckeck by replaceing with a spare if you have one.

The low pressure fuel side is dropping below 150 kPa, and the revs are being limited to 3000 to prevent damage to the high pressure fuel pump
Anybody been inside the tank, perhaps changed the ITP for one from an older car ? Brian |

As a test try unplugging the LP fuel pressure sensor (the plug on top of the fuel filter) and see if the engine then revs freely.
