Default "Abandoned" Rover 75

Hi I have been driving past this Rover 75 covered in "scrap cars" advertising for the past several months which is parked outside a cemetery in Portsmouth. I presume it's been abandoned as it is always parked in the same placed.

Well today I finally got round to parking up and taking some photos. It is a 2.5 manual. The body work is in good condition apart from the driver's wing mirror cover is missing. Some of the tyres are going flat and there is no tax disc on display so I don't understand why it has not been removed by the council as it is on a very busy road. Does anyone know anything about this car and is it worth saving?

The vehicle details for W673 SPD are:
Date of Liability 01 01 2013
Date of First Registration 28 04 2000
Year of Manufacture 2000
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2497cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Licence Due to Expire
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

Must be connected with the scrap yard, why else would they spend money on the decal adverts? perhaps best to ring them and check, don't imagine they want a quick sell or they will need to have another set for the next 'abandoned' car.

Default Steel Blue (JFB) ?

Don't recall seeing one this colour. Is it quite rare?

It is taxed - until Tuesday!:xmas-smiley-031:

I may be wrong, but it looks like it might be Atlantic Blue, my Dad had a 75 of the same year in this colour and was almost 'flip' paint as it appeared to be different colours depending on the light.

Looks like it's steel blue. Pity to see them used in this way, as it cheapens them rather, in the eyes of the public.
