New tyres. Avon vs Hankook
Looking to renew my 215/55/16 tyres
Narrowed choice down to: Avon zv7 Or Hankook Ventus prime 3 k125 Does anyone have these on their vehicle? In independent tests the hankooks get superb reviews, but the Avons are close behind. |

Too late I fear, but plus 1 for the Avons - exceptionally quiet and outstanding wet grip.

Couldnt order hankooks today due to supply issue so still open to recommendations. I thought the price difference was almost nothing but due to an error on my behalf, the Avons are actually £12/corner cheaper, so £48 cheaper overall. Dilemas!
Can anyone comment on grip of Avons in dry/in general? Thanks Davey |

Cheers stu, unfortunately Ive obsessed over this site and the various tests already! The avons are generally placed average however owner reviews, including but not limited to the lads on here, are very favourable. I’m sure the Avons are a sound choice and I’m leaning back there on price alone. But i hear v gd things about hankooks including brother in law who has them on a golf
