Check engine warning
Hello. Twice in the last month I have had the yellow check engine warning on my display. Also twice my car wouldn't start. I left the car 10 mins and it started. I have a 2003 2 l diesel Connie.
Has anyone any ideas what might cause this. Cheers. Alan Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk |

the first thing i would check is the plenums make sure all 4 are clear and not blocked 2 at either side of the inner wings 1 near the ecu and 1 near the master brake cylinder( that one can only be accessed underneath) . if you look at your pollen filter and its wet or has a tide mark on you might have a damaged ecu thats starting to play up i check all mine an a regular basis but i cut mine off underneath to let debris and water flush through better its just a thought rgds mark

Alan check and clean the LP fuel pressure sensor plug connections and check the wiring for damage - it is the one on the top of the fuel filter.
If that doesn't cure it do the same with the HP fuel pressure sensor - that sits on the end of the fuel rail. |
