Which diagnostic lead?
I'd like to buy a diagnostic lead to plug into my ZT T 2002 KV6 .
The socket in the car looks to be a 8pin single row but nearly all the ones on that well-known auction site seem to be double row 16 pins. Could anyone advise me what type/designation of cable I should be looking for please? thanks, Malc |

The diagnostics socket is under the edge of the dash near the driver's right knee. It's a double row, 8 - 8, as shown above.
Are you planning to use TOAF? If so there are lots of suitable OBD to USB adapter cables on eBay. The ones people usually buy are the VAG-COM type and requires you to solder a bridge across pins 7 and 8. These's a lot of info on this and TOAF if you do a simple word search TC |

Thanks very much for all the info. All the cables I could see on Ebay were USB male to OBD2 female and now I see I need USB male to OBD male!
So now I've ordered a cable and I know which are pins 7 and 8. Thanks again, Malc |
