Hi Vaughan.
Nice to hear you got sorted out, did they give you the old steering rack back, was a break down given of the work carried out for you, how does the car sound with its new exhaust.

Yes I have the old rack, I have a breakdown and labour was £130.00 and it sounds great now, I prefer the way this exhaust is attached, it has a bracket around the backbox opposed to the spot welded hangers which is what had pulled away on the previous exhaust leaving 2 holes hence the MOT fail on exhaust, I think it was all legit and all seems well now, hopefully that should be it for a while :-)

Absolute bargain if you compare it with depreciation on a new car between now and it’s next mot

You have a lot of car, for not a great cost considering how much things cost these days. I'm sure very soon, you will reckon it was money well spent.

That's equivalent to a service and headlamp bulb change on many modern cars.

Respect to you for spending your hand earned cash in this way. Hopefully the car will now give a few year's of service before needing anything major.
