Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel + Auto Foam + Auto Wash
Spent the evening cleaning GT, just a quick couple of pics, I couldn't expect anymore from the BT auto wheel I bought a wheel brush this afternoon and I might as well put it in the bin, 5 sprays of the auto wheel then rinse.. the pics speak for themselves.
20141011_171433.jpg 20141011_171625.jpg 20141011_172257.jpg Auto foam is good as a pre wash 20141011_172804.jpg But I couldn't wax/polish straight after as some people do I use auto wash after the auto foam, you only use a tea spoon per bucket which seem crazy but it does give suds but if you expect a bubble bath that doesnt happen however the cleaning is great. 20141011_175005.jpg Was going to do the cleanser polish next but the lack of light put the carbosh on that |

Fitted an Alpine Bluetooth head unit today to replace the Kenwood tape player...
Bought & fitted this from Halfrauds: http://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/d...-4660/ute-72bt They have it online for £79.99 so reserved it and collected it whilst I was in-store and I had £15.00 credit with them too so all in it was a ****** good price for what I needed Already had the ISO leads in the car (checked before I set off) so got home and fitted it in about half an hour after tidying some wires up and fitting the mic for the Bluetooth too (fitted it in the opening of the small cubby slot above the head unit itself). It sounds great and Bluetooth works brilliantly with my Note 2 and Nexus 5 mobiles too Also fiddled about if fitted some 24 led CANBUS error free sidelights, much better visually now than the cheap 2 LED ones that were in! Going to remove the 190 emblems off the front wings tomorrow as I don't like them; picked up some Autoglym 'Intense Tar Remover' to help get the glue off when I remove them |

To drive my car again, I had to get a new battery.
SWMBO's car was boxing mine in and her battery had finally died. Get this, on a Peugeot 307cc, you need to get it in sleep mode before disconnecting the old battery. Retract the driver's window, remove ignition key and wait for 3 mins. After a new connection, you reach through the window, switch on the headlights, until you hear a bong. Then it is safe to enter the car without screwing up the systems. Fine if the battery has enough power to retract the window and it is not hissing down with rain. After removing the air filter box, a battery box which is impossible to move without swearing at it and breaking a clip, I then found that the battery terminals had quick release clamps fitted. Anyway, now sorted. We have got it too easy with our cars.

Bill, couldn't you get something more see through to go on the back of that Smart car?
A clear A4 size pouch should do it.
