That IS a bargain.

Well Done.

I'm sure it'll shine like a "toilet" Door (Saying that, it puts most to shame already)

Default Fitted thermostat mod

As title suggests, i did the in-line mod, the first time my cars seen 80 degrees in months, absolutely amazing. p.s: I couldn't quite get it down the pipe that far, the body of the thermostat isn't touching the plastic pipe (engine side), but the copper bulb (Renault stat) is in the entrance of the plastic pipe, I know its not ideal, but it is only temp for a few weeks so I can save up for a OEM stat and replacement!) I figured Jules guide he used a thermostat that had loads of extra metal at the bulb side, so there would have been no way in the underworld that he would have done what I did, I didn't think it mattered...

I took it on a half hour road trip and watched it get up to around 79-80*C and then the temp started dropping (the stat was only rated at 83*C) and it leveled out there! Before the car wouldn't even get up to 60*C, so hopefully this may cure a part of our cars woefully bad MPG rating (20mpg )
