Cool Brake light?

I have brake light out on the ZTT. I've read up about how to remove. The top screw comes out ok but the bottom screw just spins. Any tips on how to get it out without me breaking anything. Remember it's me trying this so please keep it simple.
I'm tempted to leave till the car goes for it's MOT in a few weeks time.
