When I first started in the amusement machine business in the early sixties

these are what I was trained to repair.



Later these were introduced.



Fruit machines moved on technically in the over fifty years I was in the trade.

Now they have very few moving parts and are computer controlled.

Seriously though I remembered going on holiday somewhere and the best entertainment for me as a 12y told was the Game Machine called Phoenix with them coming out of more and more eggs.
I would love to own that machine but availability and space is an issue

To be far Dave I don't trust myself around gambling machines ie at best I will loose but even scarier I might win (I am in the 2%club)

Great thread BTW especially as Nintendo is doing a smaller reto version of the old games machine with 21 games installed for £79.99 Super Mario etc ......
